Prayers

This is the update page for En Gedi, it is where you will find the current status of projects and plans. Most importantly it will let you know how you can specifically pray for En Gedi Retreat.

Current prayer requests:

The Lance Cabin is now being used full time. However, we are not quite finished yet and still need to raise about $5,000 to put the finishing touches on it. Pray for the pastors who are staying there and for God to move in those he wishes to have donate. .

En Gedi still needs an accountant. This is very important work as non-profit organizations are heavily scrutinized by the IRS. Pray that God lead someone to take up this important calling.

Answered Prayers

The Lance Cabin move took much longer than expected, however, praise God that the cabin was very strong and made the 30 mile trip without any issues, was craned onto the foundation, and remodeled for full time use.

We have received our 501(c)(3) status from the IRS. This has been a huge blessing as our paperwork was only at the federal level for 60 days and came back with no questions asked! We could not have asked for it to go any smoother, Praise to God and thank you for your prayers on this!

Land has been donated for En Gedi's use! Fish and Cross Ranch graciously donated land for us to build En Gedi on. Click here to see some pictures of the ranch. As you know I have been praying since we started that God would send someone to donate land. Of course I was not praying for land like this, but God delivered in his own powerful way.
