Learn about En Gedi

En Gedi Retreat is a free vacation and retreat home for pastors and missionaries, a 501 (c) 3 organization. Its purpose is too keep pastors and missionaries “Rested, Refreshed, and Renewed” in their service to the Kingdom. It is available to full time and bi-vocational pastors to include worship leaders, youth pastors, and other full time ministry workers directly involved in pastoring, teaching and leading. This includes full time missionaries whose primary mission/work is the spreading of the gospel through mission work.

Thanks to the generosity of it’s property owner, En Gedi has one permanent retreat currently available, and other opportunity houses as well.

Fish and Cross Ranch in Yampa, Colorado

– A 4,000 acre ranch, 30 minutes south of Steamboat Springs.

The Lance Cabin is where guests stay, where peace and quiet abound. Cabin amenities are first class, and Fish and Cross Ranch, a professional recreational ranch, can be hired to provide a number of activities. Or, you can enjoy any number of outdoor activities from hiking to skiing this beautiful area of Colorado has to offer.

Opportunity Houses

In addition to this permanent facility, En Gedi also has numerous “opportunity houses” in multiple locations for limited use. These are homes, condos, town houses, and timeshares that are donated to En Gedi for specific periods of time. Please visit our Locations tab in order to see our most up-to-date availability.

En Gedi is available at no cost to those who use it.  We raise finances to support the building process and upkeep so no pastor or missionary will be able to use the “I don’t have enough money” excuse to not go on a vacation.
