mission work.
What
have we been doing?
2006
En Gedi Retreat began, and while we have
been raising money to build the "final" En Gedi Retreat home, Fish
and Cross Ranch graciously allowed us to use their guest house and
cabins to host pastors and missionaries.
2008
Butch Dougherty donated a cabin to En Gedi
Retreat. We named it after his son Lance. All we had to do was
moved the cabin 30 miles from Steamboat to Fish and Cross Ranch (it
sounded easy then too).
2009
We poured the foundation for the The Lance
Cabin, got the septic system in, and prepared the cabin for the move.
2010
We moved the cabin 30 miles, set it on the
foundation, and did a major upgrade to everything. We began
hosting pastors full time in August of this year! This year we
also began the second part of our ministry "Congregation Education" and
Carl has had the opportunity to speak at Church's and conferences!
The Future
We now accept pastors and missionaries on
a full time basis. After the Lance Cabin is "completely" finished
we will continue to raise money for the final En Gedi Retreat home: a
2500 sq foot first class house!
